Repeaters - CTCSS usage in Hungary
Based on decision of IARU Reginon1 conference: The use of CTCSS is strongly encouraged for VHF and UHF FM repeaters in Region 1, with the aim of reducing inadvertent interference by users to repeaters sharing the same input channel. In order to minimise mutual unwanted interference, from 1 Jan 2015 all new FM repeaters should use CTCSS tones on receivers as well as on transmitters.
